Turkeys aren't the only thing to get stuffed on Thanksgiving! Groan.... Several couples of my acquaintance don't 'do' Thanksgiving at their own home. They go to 'Mom's house'--both Moms; one meal at midday; the other, early evening (or, in one case, just a few hours apart!) Double groan!
Soon there'll be various Christmas parties to attend, whether with friends or coworkers or at church or community gatherings. More goodies to eat....how's your dieting plans looking? Then, if your family is like mine, there's another family gathering for a meal and presents to be exchanged. Again with the groans.
